Read Daniel 4:19-27

Banished from society to live like an animal doesn’t sound like a pleasant way to spend “seven periods of time.” We’re not told what a “period” was. This message may be speaking of days or years, and the ramifications would be so different.

Daniel didn’t want to share the message from the Most High God at first. Do you think he was afraid Nebuchadnezzar would retaliate in some way or have Daniel put to death? Ephesians 2:8-10 💛 By Grace

Read Ephesians 2:8-10

Have you ever wondered how it could be that easy? I’m talking about our salvation. These verses should be impressed upon our hearts every day to realize it’s not about what we do. We can never do more to “earn” our salvation. That’s hard for us to understand because in this world those who get ahead have worked hard.

God has given us a gift. It’s not a tangible gift with ribbons that we open. It’s certainly not a gift we deserve. It is truly amazing, just like the old familiar hymn suggests. “Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now I’m found, was blind, but now I see.”
